Okay, I gotta ask why one would do this visualization. Is there expectation involved? If I imagine myself to be something often enough and hard enough, will I become that thing or will I remain the thing that wished I was what I visualized myself becoming?
I remember Jimmy Carter telling the country we need to appear strong. I thought "what kind of advice is that?" Wouldn't it be preferable actually to be strong? On the other hand, there are studies that prove an athelete who imagines himself making free throws from the foul line for a specific pereiod of time daily will later outperform other players who physicallty practised free-throws for the same amount of time.
