I understand. My dad told me years ago, that in order to survive in this world one has to s**t people before they get sh**ted. My response to that was, I'd rather die than to do that. My last longest holding job I had was in furniture and they specialized in 14th century furniture. Made of all mahogany. When they started cutting corners and substituted the cores with popular with mahogany liners, I knew then that the company would go under because of it. I got in many arguments with the supers over it and I just caused bad feelings between us and later got fired over just being out with strep. They was just waiting on that chance. It was illegal they way they done it, but I figured it was time to move on so I did. Before this time I had always made sure I had another job waiting before I left but this time I had no way of knowing they was still holding that grudge. a year before I got fired I had quit over a money situation and they came and got me back from the other company. The ex super took the place of the plant manager from that time afterwards. The money situation was they had not been taking the life insurance of my oldest child out of my paycheck for years and they wanted it back in a lump sum. I told them about it from the start and they argued, I was wrong. Their mistake not mine. I knew that the ex super was coming in to be plant manager before I had gotten fired. The high supers didn't like the mistakes from the past and blamed it all on the plant manager that was there before the ex super. The mistake was made years before he became plant manager. But he was the one that stood up for me and showed them it was their fault and not mine. They didn't fire him but transfered him to another plant. I missed that man. He gave me a raise once and after getting the first paycheck with the raise I noticed my take home pay was less than before and I went to him to take the raise back. After figuring out the problem, he gave me more of a raise to counteract for the different tax bracket and then some. He was a fair man. Too bad the others wasn't like him.
