Vietnam and Thailand farmers will be happy again, we will most probably be importing rice next year.

My family is safe though, all of them, even in flooded Nueva Ecija. My cousin though is still looking for his steel gates, and he gave back the roof he found in his backyard. He was lucky, the roof didn't land on his house, LOL.

I was told about 22 years ago, my grandma's house, built of heavy lumber floated away during a flood. The posts stood on big stones but the flood waters deposited the house several meters away on soft ground and it started sinking. It was re-assembled later on the same stone foundations but it wasn't like it was before.

I see what it looks like now when I visit later this month.
